Art is my passion, I love the moments when I’m in total connection with the piece I’m working on, when I can sense what it demands and needs. Movement and detail make the piece come alive expressing itself.
I grew up in Guatemala in an artistic and religious family, where aesthetics and art were part of our daily live and often of conversation and discussion. With an architect father, building and construction materials are familiar to me. I use them as an unexpected medium for my work, especially in big scale architectural projects.
My faith, my country’s traditions and history are the source of my inspiration.
